This means that only certain types of floorplan shapes and sizes will fit within the parameters of a lot’s area. This area can also be affected by what are called setbacks, and builders must be mindful of utility restrictions as they develop and build a lot with a custom, new home.

Because of this, Ron Lee has a list of certain floorplans that will fit on existing available lots to be built. These floorplans feature many different bedroom and bath combinations and come in a variety of square footage ranges.
